Teaching is delivered by three educational and research institutes and eight faculties, which comprise departments, teaching and research laboratories, centres and museums. Each institute and faculty page lists its own subdivisions.

Krapyvnyi Zoological Museum, the Skovoroda biology school and two research laboratories — environmental monitoring and biotechnology.
