On 22 April 2025, the Faculty of Foreign Philology had the honour of hosting a guest lecture by Professor Reinhard Drifte (United Kingdom), dedicated to the complex dynamics of Sino–Japanese relations. The event was organised by Professor Liliia Kornilieva.
Professor Reinhard Drifte is a renowned authority in the field of international relations, with particular expertise in Japan’s foreign policy, security in Northeast Asia, and the European Union’s engagement with countries in the region. He holds the title of Emeritus Professor at the University of Newcastle, United Kingdom.
His scholarly contributions include a number of influential scientific works, among them:
