Davydova Maryna Olexandrivna, Associate Professor at the Department of Theory and Technology of Preschool Education and Arts Disciplines, Kharkiv H.S Skovoroda National Pedagogical University.

EDUCATION AND ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION

Associate Professor M.O Davydova graduated with honors in 1994 from the Faculty of Art and Graphics of H.S Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University in the specialty "Drawing, Fine Arts and Artistic Work" and qualified as "Teacher of Fine Arts, Drawing and Artistic Work".

In 2017 she received her second higher education in the specialty "Preschool education" and received the qualification "Organizer of preschool education, educator of preschool children, organizer of art activities of preschool children" at H.S Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University.

In 2019 she received a master's degree in "Management" and received the qualification "Head of Enterprise, Institution and Organization. Management in Education" at H.S Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University.

PROFESSIONAL CAREER

From 1992 to 1999 she worked as a teacher of drawing and sketching in the Academic educational complex of pre-university elite education №73 in Kharkiv.

From 1997 to 2000 she studied in graduate school at the Department of Age and Pedagogical Psychology of H.S Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University.

Since 2000 works as a teacher, senior lecturer, and from March 2016 to present  as an associate professor of the Department of Theory and Technology of Preschool Education and Arts of H.S Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University.

From 2002 to 2005 – Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Primary Education for Educational Work of H.S Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University.

From 2015 to the present – management of a permanent student research and creative group on the basis of the "Toy Museum" of the Faculty of Preschool Education.

Since September 2017 – scientific counseling of educators and methodologists of Lisnyansky preschool institution "Barvinok" on the problem of studying the functional nature of art as a basis for designing integrated pedagogical technology of preschool art activities (on the basis of "Agreement from 06.09.2017 on scientific and practical cooperation between H.S Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University and Lisnyansky institution of preschool education (kindergarten) of the combined type "Barvinok" of Malodanilivka village council of Dergachiv district of Kharkiv region).

From September 2019 – scientific counseling of educators and methodologists of Kupyansk preschool on the problem of innovative and educational work of teachers in the field of organization of art activities of preschoolers (based on the "Agreement of 26.09.2019 on scientific and practical cooperation between H.S Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University and Kupyansk preschool education institution (child development center) in Kivsharivka village.

Member of the public organization "All-Ukrainian Association of Vasyl Sukhomlynky".

Member of the organizing committee (2017, 2018) and member of the jury (2019) of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in "Preschool Education".

The winner of the nomination "Volunteer of the Year 2018" at H.S Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University.

She was awarded Diplomas of H.S Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University for a significant contribution to the development of science and education (2018, 2019).

Associate Professor M.O Davydova teaches courses: "Fundamentals of compositional literacy", "Workshop on fine arts", "Theatrical activities in preschool education", "Painting and decorative composition", "Methods of teaching art disciplines in primary school", "Theory and methods of cooperation of preschool institutions with families", management of pedagogical practice of applicants for higher education of the first (bachelor's) and second (master's) levels of education in the specialty "012 Preschool education".

RESEARCH INTERESTS:

Research interests of associate professor M.O Davydova related to various scientific fields, namely:

• methods of teaching disciplines of the artistic and aesthetic cycle in higher education institutions

• problems of modern preschool education

• preparation of future preschool workers for the introduction of innovative technologies in fine arts in the educational process of preschool education

• preparation of future educators for professional activity in the conditions of higher education institution

• museum pedagogy in the educational process of a modern preschool institution

• innovative activity in preschool education institutions: management aspect

• synthesis of ideological orientations of fine arts in modern and postmodern culture.

She has more than 70 scientific and educational works.
