The Faculty of Physics and Mathematics is a modern and powerful faculty that trains highly qualified specialists in the field of education in the most popular specialties of modern society – Physics, Mathematics, Informatics (Computer Science).
The Faculty of Physics and Mathematics has rich educational and cultural traditions, significant scientific potential, experienced teaching staff, responsible teaching and support staff.
The staff of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics is focused on the modernization of the educational process, the implementation of innovative pedagogical technologies and the latest information and communication technologies, the expansion of international relations.
Laboratories and lecture halls have modern equipment; classes are provided with multimedia support. There is a wide range of student scientific and subject clubs at the Faculty; also, the various scientific and practical conferences, seminars, students Olympiads, competitions, and tournaments are held by the Faculty staff.
The Faculty of Physics and Mathematics is one of the leaders in implementing the distance and blended forms of education at the University. All students and teaching staff of the Faculty are active users of the University LMS Moodle.
Students are involved in the work of the Sports Club, artistic and creative teams and groups of the Cultural and Artistic Center of H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University
