Yuryeva Kateryna Anatoliivna, doctor of pedagogical sciences, associate professor, Professor of the Department of Theory and Technology of Preschool Education and Art Disciplines.

EDUCATION AND SCIENTIFIC TRAINING

From 1981 to 1985 she studied at the music and pedagogical faculty of Sumy State Pedagogical Institute named after A.S. Makarenko, majoring in "Music", after which she received a diploma with honors and "Music Teacher" qualification.

From 1990 to 1993 she studied in graduate school.

In 1994 she defended her dissertation and received the degree of Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences in "Theory and History of Pedagogy".

She received the academic title of associate professor in 1995.

From 2002 to 2005 she underwent scientific training in doctoral studies.

In 2017 she defended her dissertation and received the degree of Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences in "Theory and Methods of Vocational Education".

 PROFESSIONAL CAREER AND MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE

From August 1985 to January 1986 she worked as a music teacher at Secondary school № 4 of Lyubotyn city.

From 1985 to 1986 she worked as a part-time teacher at the Kharkiv Pedagogical School.

From January to October 1986 - Concertmaster of the Department of Music and Aesthetics.

From 1986 to 1989 - lecturer at the Department of Music and Aesthetics.

From 1989 to 1990 she worked as a lecturer at the Department of Music Education.

From 1993 to 2002 - Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor of Music, later - the sector of aesthetic education.

From 1993 to 2002 - Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Primary Education for Academic Affairs.

In 2002 - Associate Professor of Primary Education and Preschool Education.

From 2005 to 2019 - Professor of the Department of Theory and Methods of Vocational Education, later - the Department of Primary, Preschool and Vocational Education.

From September 2, 2019 to the present - Professor of Theory and Technology of Preschool Education and Arts.

 RESEARCH ACTIVITIES

Research interests are methodology and techniques of higher pedagogical education; continuous personal and professional development of teachers; comparative research of problems of pedagogical education; methodology and technologies of scientific pedagogical research; formation of civic and intercultural competence of the individual in preschool, secondary and higher pedagogical education; methodology, history, comparative research of art education; comparative ethnopedagogy.

She has more than 180 scientific and educational works, including monographs, textbooks, scientific articles in professional journals.

Under the leadership of K.A. Yuryeva has defended 9 candidate dissertations in pedagogical sciences.

She was the responsible executor of the state budget theme "Development of technology for the formation of intercultural competence of future teachers based on the study of comparative ethnography (on the material of Slobozhanshchina)."

Since 2013 she has been the executive secretary of the editorial board of the scientific publication Means of educational and research work, included in group B of the list of scientific professional publications of Ukraine and registered in international catalogs of periodicals and databases: Ulrichsweb Global Serials Directory; OCLC WorldCat; Index Copernicus; Open Academic Journals Index (OAJI); Research Bible; BASE (Bielefeld Academic search Engine); Google Scholar; Polska Bibliografia Naukowa; ERIH PLUS.

From 1996 to 2014 - Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists of KhNPU named after G.S. Skovoroda.

From 1996 to 2002 - Scientific Secretary of the Presidium of the Association of Young Scientists of Kharkiv region.

From 2005 to present - Member of the Organizing Committee and Executive Secretary of the Editorial Board of Proceedings of the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Methodology of Modern Research".

2009 - participation in the management organizational and activity game "University Department at school: models and practical options" in the project "Education for the future. University departments in schools ". She has developed the "Regulations on the university department at school."

Since 2014, she has been leading the Kharkiv Oblast Creative Group for the Adaptation of Cross-Integrated Course Programs for Preschool, General Secondary and Higher Education Institutions “Culture of Good Neighborliness” within the project “Promoting Intercultural Education in Ukraine” implemented by the public organization "Information and Research Center "Integration and Development"" in cooperation with the Department of General Secondary and Preschool Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and with the support of the OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities.

2014 - participation in the Forum of Public Initiatives "Reconciliation in Ukrainian society: on the way to a broad public dialogue" together with the Institute for International Cooperation of the Association of People's Universities of Germany (DVV International) and public organization "Information and Research Center "Integration and Development"".

2017–2019 - member of the jury of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in the specialty "Preschool Education".

2018 - participation in the development of the Program on intercultural and civic education of preschool children "Ukrainian wreath. Region "of the course" Culture of Good Neighborliness ".

2020 - participation in the development of in-service training programs for directors and teachers of preschool education institutions on the methods of teaching the program on intercultural and civic education of preschool children "Ukrainian wreath.
